Kerri was a salon owner for seven years in North Carolina, before relocating to Naples in 2005 and joining hairdesign by Avantgarde in 2008. With her expertise and passion for color, Kerri became a certified Goldwell Color Specialist and has mastered in all aspects of dimensional color, foiling techniques and Color Correction. Kerri is certified in the “Marcia” Brazilian Keratin Treatments and her long layered cuts are also outstanding. Her creativity and commitment to excellence has not only given her the tools and education necessary to build a large cliental, but also to become a Level 3 Stylist and educator for our associate program. Kerri is dedicated to helping guests look and feel their best. With her calm and down to earth personality she finds the right approach to let her clients feel special.
Nicole P. - Stylist
Nicole is a highly trained artist with a tremendous knowledge in the field of advanced color. Nicole has not only mastered blonde tones and multi -dimensional coloring in the Goldwell color line, but is also known for her stacked/a-line bobs and layered cuts with perfect blow out finishing styles. Her product knowledge allow her to educate her guests on how to maintain their looks at home. Nicole has been a team member since 2009 and advanced to a Level 2 stylist. Always upbeat, “Nicki” takes her time to listen to her guests needs and enjoys designing the look you desire. She loves giving her guests the attention they deserve.
Cassandra - Stylist
Cassandra has joined our team in 2009, after graduating from cosmetology school with excellence. Working in the salon industry prior as an assistant for more than 2 years Cassandra obtained her Full Facial Specialist License in 2007. Very artistic, Cassandra loves creating high fashion looks which she learned doing while living in California for 16 years working with ballroom dancers, runway models and beauty pageants. Cassandra enjoys transforming a guest with color, cut and make-up to enhance their best qualities.
Nicole Des Jardin - Stylist
Nicole enjoys meeting diverse individuals and believes she is a versatile stylist that
can accommodate both conservative and edgy styles. Her favorites are short haircuts, men’s hairdressing as well as layered cuts. Always upbeat and in a great mood, Nicole enjoys giving suggestions and feedback to her guests. She approaches hair with an open mind and loves to create looks that best suit her guest’s needs. Her satisfaction comes from inspiring those around her to accentuate their natural features and take each day as an opportunity to shine brighter then the day before.

Amber is highly educated and knowledgeable about the benefits that every single product provides within the skincare department. The impressive drive to continually reach new successes and amazing technical talent of the services she crafts have contributed to Amber's ongoing progression. Yirina - Associate
Yirina came to hairdesign by Avantgarde as a graduated cosmetologist from Miami and began our esteemed associate program. During her tenure as an associate, she trains with our Level 3 Stylist and Educator Sharon Kopka, learning not only new techniques but deepens her knowledge in the Goldwell color line and attending classes to further her education. After graduating from the associate program Yirina will be a “New Talent Stylist” who wants to use her cosmetology skills and artistic ability to create a unique style for each guest, fitting their appearance, personality and lifestyle. Yirina is focused on forming new and lasting client relationships.
Daniela - Support Staff
Daniela recently joined the support staff team. Daniela, an Italian girl who was born in Chicago is coming "up to speed" very quickly serving our guests. Daniela has been interested in this industry for some time when she had the opportunity to work in a salon Italy in and truly enjoys helping others in a busy salon environment. Daniela loves people and it shows! Her smile greets every guest and her watchful eye insures each guest's salon experience meets her standards which she always hopes exceed the guest's expectations. Daniela is would like to receive her cosmetology license to further her career by becoming a make-up artist and is looking forward to be growing with hairdesign by AVANTGARDE.

Sabine is a creative and experienced stylist with a passion for making her clients look and feel beautiful. Beginning her career in 1984 in Germany, Sabine quickly gained a loyal following when she moved to Naples in 2007 to join the team of hairdesign by Avantgarde. Operating her own salon in Germany for over 10 years she has mastered in killer short haircuts, razor and textured cuts. During her years in the beauty industry she has archived her Master diploma degree and has won many awards in Germany. Sabine’s specialties also include multi -dimensional color and foiling techniques, extraordinary blow dry finishes and Men’s cutting. Sabine is a Level 3 Stylist and educator for our associate program and her philosophy of caring for her clients is simple; "I love giving hair the dimension, pop and sparkle that it deserves".
Sharon - Stylist and Educator
Sharon is a truly dedicated stylist with over 20 years of experience, Sharon approaches cutting hair with extreme precision and attention to detail. Her passion shows in her constant pursuit of perfection. Sharon believes that your hair should act as an extension of your persona, expressing your inner beauty, while accentuating your outer beauty and complimenting your features. Sharon is a Level 3 Stylist and educator in our associate program. With her calm and caring personality she has been a great asset to hairdesign by AVANTGARDE since 2008. Sharon welcomes her guests with an open mind, perfecting what the clients want and need are the best of her ability. Brynn - Stylist
Originally from N.Y. Brynn joined our team in 2010 and is proving to be an energetic, positive hair designer, an excellent all round stylist. Brynn focuses her talent on the transformation of you, her guest, not only for your image, but your confidence and your overall sanity! She loves doing hair, both cutting, coloring and has a panache for avant-garde. Brynn is an expert in Goldwell Color, an Aveda Certified Specialist and a Redken Certified Color & Color Correction Specialist. To expand her horizon she worked in N.C. for two years where she prepped runway models for ” Ed Hardy” Fashion Shows. Her fun, passionate and outgoing personality lift up everybody’s spirit and make you feel right at home!
Meghan - Stylist
Meghan a true Naples native has joined hairdesign by Avantgarde in 2010. After completing her initial cosmetology training Meghan established fast in the beauty industry due to her understanding of individuality and creativity. She loves doing textured cuts to create volume and body in the hair. Meghan has incredible skills finishing off her hair dressing with long lasting blow-outs. Very sensible and ready to enlighten her guests with the services and products needed to have truly stunning hair, Meghan also specializes in fresh, natural looks with lots of dimension and movement through color.
Lynzi - Nail Technician & Facial Specialist
Lynzi, our excellent Nail Technician and Facial Specialist is bringing 5 years of experience in the natural nail department with her. She specializes in spa quality manicures, pedicures, French nails as well as Shellac and gel nails. Lynzi is very thorough, gentle and very adamant about giving each guest not only the best treatment possible but educating her guests on how to take care of their skin and nails at home. Lynzi enjoys working each and every day with a positive attitude, offering perfection and quality in the work that she provides to her clients. Sofia - Facial Specialist
Sofia is a professionally trained Florida Full Facial Specialist for the past 10 years with experience. Sofia specializes in Microdermabration, Dermaplaning Facials and excellent Waxing Services (facial, body and Brazilian). Sofia prides herself not only on bringing out the inner beauty of her clientele but also repairing damaged skin, minimizing lines and applying massage techniques to stimulate the facial muscles for a firmer skin. Sofia believes that healthy skin is beautiful skin. She is bi-lingual and believes her Hispanic background lends to her ability to communicate with a wide demographic! Sofia has a sensitive heart and gentle hands that aid her in the profession she loves.
Anna - Associate
For Anna, beauty has been a life long passion- and has fueled her drive to become both a M.A.C. certified professional make-up artist, and an accomplished hairstylist. Alex - Associate
Alex inspiration for doing hair started when he was 14 years old by watching his brother barbering hair. Alex soon discovered that his passion could turn into his future career. While he was still in Collage playing football, Alex got injured and decided it is time to pursue his career as a barber/ stylist. In cosmetology school he was top of his class when challenging the board and passing with excellence. Alex began our esteemed associate program. During his tenure as an associate, he trains with our Level 3 Stylists/Educator Sabine Winkler, learning new techniques and attending classes to further his education. so that he can be the best that he can be and have the confidence to not only grow but excess in every aspect of our industry. Alex looks forward to growing his own clientele.

Katja - CEO
The Owner of hairdesign by Avantgarde. Growing up in Germany she graduated with a bachelor degree in business and finances and owned and operated several travel agencies in Berlin before Katja decided to move to Naples in 1995.
In 2003 hairdesign by Avantgarde opened its doors and creating Avantgarde has been a true passion for her. Seeing it come to life with the incredible staff that has chosen to help make it happen has been heartwarming. It has completed her dream of bringing to the treasure coast a true upscale salon and spa experience without expensive resort style pricing.
Being able to create an environment where such a fine assemblage of professionals can come together has been a blessing to me! Working in the beauty industry has brought on a new set of challenges and an opportunity to work with a unique set of skilled artists employed within hairdesign by Avantgarde. Janet’s expertise is to find the best style, cut and color based on your individual hair type.
